Man faces court after police seize $200,000 worth of cocaine at Toongabbie, NSW

A man was arrested after police seized over $200,000 worth of cocaine found in a vehicle at Toongabbie yesterday.

At 6pm (Friday 17 August 2019) police attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were patrolling The Great Western Highway when the manner of driving of a Mini Cooper caught their attention.

Police stopped the car and spoke to the 24-year-old driver and subsequently conducted a search.

Police will allege they located several sealed envelopes containing white powder, believed to be cocaine and cash.

The items were seized and will be forensically examined.

The Glenmore Park man was arrested and taken to Granville Police Station. He was charged with supply prohibited drug (more than indictable quantity), possess prohibited drug, possess ammunition and deal with property proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 17 August 2019).
