Man found injured – Lidcombe

Investigation underway after a man was found injured in Sydney’s south after being detained.

Just before midnight on Saturday (4 November 2023), emergency services were called to a unit on Grazier Street, Lidcombe, following reports a 36-year-old man had been assaulted and forced into a vehicle.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

About 11pm last night (Sunday 5 November 2023), emergency services were called to Lower Washington Drive, Bonnet Bay, following reports a man had been found injured.

On arrival, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command located a 36-year-old man with facial injuries

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Sutherland Hospital in a stable condition.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad have established Strike Force Rowallan to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
