Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a 54-year-old man after another man was located with life-threatening injuries in Frankston yesterday.
The arrest relates to the discovery of a severely injured 53-year-old man in bushes beside Overton Road about 4.30am.
The injured man, from Frankston, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The arrested man, of no fixed address, attended Frankston Police Station this morning where he remains in custody, assisting police with their enquiries.
