A man is in hospital following a housefire on the Mid North Coast.
Emergency services were called to a property on The Boulevarde at Tallwoods, 20km north of Forster, about 5am today (Wednesday 26 August 2020) following reports the building was well alight.
Four crews from Fire and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze about 8.30am.
A 47-year-old man was found outside the property suffering smoke inhalation and burns to his face and hands.
He was airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore in a serious but stable condition.
A cause of the blaze is yet to be determined; however, police do not believe it is suspicious.
