Man missing from Blue Mountains 4 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Michael Morrell, aged 48, was last seen about 12.30m yesterday (Monday 3 Apil 2023) at a shopping centre on Parke Street in Katoomba.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he lives with a medical condition and is non-verbal.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and a scruffy dark beard.

He was last seen wearing dark blue pants, maroon shirt and a blue jacket. It is believed he may also be in possession of a red and white plastic shopping bag.

Michael is known to frequent Katoomba, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Coogee and Marrickville.
