A man reported missing from Rydalmere has been located safe.
The 84-year-old was last seen in Rydalmere, about 1pm yesterday (Friday 24 November 2023).
When he could not be located, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal – including a geo-targeted SMS campaign – the man was located in Ryde about 3.50am today (Saturday 25 November 2023).
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
