Man on mobility scooter dies after Maryborough crash

Police and emergency services are at the scene of a collision in Maryborough this afternoon (27 June).

Investigators have been told a car struck a mobility scooter at the intersection of Inkerman Street and Clarendon Street about 2.55pm.

The driver of the mobility scooter, a 95-year-old Maryborough man was air-lifted to hospital but died on arrival.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
