A man reported missing from the state’s Illawarra region has been located safe.
The 27-year-old man was reported missing to police on Friday (10 February 2023), after he could not be located by family when they were in Oak Flats.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, including public appeals for assistance, the man was located in Surry Hills about 9.30pm yesterday (Monday 13 February 2023).
Police would like to thank the community for their assistance.
