Man stabbed during road rage in Altona Meadows

Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a man was stabbed during a road rage incident in Altona Meadows last year.

Police have been told the man was driving a white Ford Ranger utility along Carinza Avenue near Oakdene Grove just before 2.30pm on Tuesday 2 November.

It is believed the utility was involved in road rage incident with a grey Volkswagen hatchback.

The driver of the utility got out of his car when he was approached by two male occupants of the hatchback.

An altercation occurred and a 53-year-old Altona Meadows man was stabbed to his upper body.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been released.

The occupants of the hatchback fled the scene and were last seen travelling north towards the Werribee area.

The male offenders are both perceived to be African in appearance and aged in their early 20s.

Investigators have released CCTV of the incident and images of two men who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
