Man stabbed in Collaroy

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Sydney’s Northern Beaches today.

About 2.50pm (Saturday 26 September 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Eastbank Avenue, Collaroy, following reports of a stabbing.

Police have been told there was an altercation between two men and a woman, before one of the men was stabbed in the abdomen and the second fled the scene.

The injured man, aged in his 30s, was treated by paramedics before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.

The woman was uninjured.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

A search of the surrounding area is currently being conducted with assistance from the Dog Unit.
