Mandurah Detectives are investigating the circumstances that led to a 24 year old man receiving serious facial injuries.
On Saturday 18 July 2020 the man was with friends at a tavern on Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah. As the tavern closed he left with two friends. They all walked into the carpark and his friends left in a ride-share vehicle.
Around 11pm the man woke up in the carpark with significant facial injuries, consistent with being assaulted. He walked to a nearby petrol station, where St John Ambulance and Police were contacted.
He was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital where he has undergone surgery for a broken cheek bone and fractured eye socket.
