Tasmania’s fresh and unique produce will be showcased on TV screens across Australia with reality TV show MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites filming a series of episodes in Tasmania.
Shooting has already commenced at various locations across the State, with episodes to air in early July – placing Tasmania front and centre on television screens across the country.
It’s a great coup for Tasmania and will further enhance our already stellar reputation for premium food and beverages, highlighting Tasmania as the place to visit for food lovers.
Tourism Tasmania is supporting the production of the Tasmanian episodes and is working with MasterChef to ensure the best representation of Tasmania’s unique food and beverage offerings as part of the show.
I wish all the competitors the best of luck with their challenges, and look forward to seeing our State highlighted when the episodes air later this year.
