An elderly man reported missing in Sydney’s Inner West area has been located safe.
The 89-year-old man was last seen leaving a home on Victoria Road, Marrickville, about 3pm on today (Monday 6 November 2023).
Unable to be located or contacted since, he was reported missing to officers from Inner West Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following extensive inquiries and a geotargeted message, the man was located safe in Dulwich Hill about 11.20pm (Monday 6 November 2023).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
