Police are seeking assistance to help locate a man reported missing from Magnetic Island.
54-year-old Douglas Grant (pictured) was last seen on December 8 in Townsville but has not been seen or contacted anyone since.
Police hold concerns for his welfare due to the amount of time he has been missing and his behaviour is also out of character.
Mr Grant is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 160cm tall and has a slim build and long grey hair and a beard.
He lives on Magnetic Island but may be in the Townsville area.
Anyone who has seen him is being urged to contact police.
