A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Mount Martha yesterday afternoon.
Investigators believe the car was travelling north along The Esplanade when it left the roadway and struck a power pole about 3.15pm.
The driver, a 60-year-old Chelsea man was treated at the scene but sadly died.
An 8-year-old Frankston girl, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
