Munno Para West man charged with drug trafficking and money laundering

A Munno Para West man has been charged with drug trafficking after police searched his home yesterday.

Acting on information from the public, Serious and Organised Crime Branch officers searched a Munno Para West house on Thursday 30 April.

It will be alleged that police found multiple lots of methamphetamine, exceeding 600 grams, in different areas of the home, along with $20,000 in cash.

Officers also located and seized a box of ammunition, a knuckleduster and a can of pepper spray.

The 38-year-old occupant was arrested and charged with trafficking in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, money laundering, possess ammunition and two counts of possess prohibited weapon. He was refused police bail and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, Friday 1 May.
