Police arrested a naked man in Pascoe Vale this morning after firearms and drugs were located in his vehicle.
Officers were called to Austin Crescent, Pascoe Vale about 10am after witnesses reported that a man had leapt from his car and started running through parkland.
It was further reported to police that he was removing clothing as he was running.
Officers attended and found a 24-year-old man from Pascoe Vale naked and hiding in a garage.
His Toyota Corolla was searched and police located two loaded firearms, cash and a commercial quantity of drugs.
The man was arrested and charged with traffick commercial drug of dependence, prohibited person possess firearm and traffic offences.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
