Students, teachers and families across Croydon North are set to benefit under a new commitment announced by the Liberals and Nationals.
Several portable classrooms at Yarra Road Primary School are in desperate need to be replaced with a more permanent structure. Currently, the portables are no longer fit for purpose and are in urgent need of an upgrade.
That’s why a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will commit $3 million for new permanent classrooms at Yarra Road Primary School.
Shadow Minister for Education and Member for Croydon, David Hodgett, said the Liberals and Nationals were committed to supporting students with strong investments for their future.
“With so many families moving into the growing eastern suburbs, and more homes on the horizon, this is a necessary and important commitment which needs to be done urgently.”
“Only a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will back local families and students here at Yarra Road by delivering four classrooms and a designated art space.”
