Cr Lara Carli, Mayor of Melton, today officially opened a new sports pavilion and major upgrades to the community sports pavilion facilities at Taylors Hill Recreation Reserve.

The pavilion increases capacity at the recreation reserve to meet the growing participation needs of community sporting clubs and is a welcomed addition to the community.

The upgrades create a new 130m2 social space including a kitchen, expanded the number of change rooms to six to support the three soccer fields concurrently playing in peak season, and built to be all-inclusive, accessible and in line with sporting guidelines.

Melton City Council fully funded and delivered these $2.8 million upgrades.
