New ticket sales record for Nitro Circus ahead of 2020 Ballarat show

Nitro Circus’ upcoming Ballarat spectacular has broken a decade-long ticket sales record for the global sports entertainment leader.

After just two days of pre-sale, nearly 2000 tickets have been sold for next year’s 29 February event at Mars Stadium, making it the best-selling regional Australian show in Nitro’s 10-year history and second only to the first ever Melbourne show.

“Secured by the City of Ballarat’s events team, Nitro Circus is a thrilling addition to our summer calendar that will showcase the versatility of Mars Stadium as a major events venue,” City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Samantha McIntosh said.

“It also reinforces Ballarat as the major events destination in regional Victoria in terms of tourism benefits for our operators.”

Nitro Circus creates electrifying live events and unbelievable original content that exhilarates, captivates and inspires action sports fans worldwide.

Its athletes are at the top of their games in FMX, BMX, Skate, Scooter and everything in between.

Nitro Circus president Andy Edwards said he had been blown away by the response to date.

“We knew we had a lot of fans in Ballarat and so always felt really good about bringing our show to this market, but no one foresaw that we would be outselling the likes of Perth, Brisbane and Newcastle on previous tours.”

“The riders love big and passionate crowds and that is exactly what Ballarat is going to bring. What a show this is going to be!”

A sell-out crowd of 10,000 spectators is expected for the Ballarat event. Tickets are available now at nitrocircus.com
