New video screen unveiled at GIO Stadium

Fans attending GIO Stadium from this weekend will enjoy a better game day experience as a new 150m2 video screen is unveiled.

The investment is part our commitment to delivering better infrastructure and services across all of Canberra.

Over 25,000 Canberrans are expected to visit GIO Stadium this weekend as the Canberra Raiders play their opening game of the season against the Gold Coast Titans on Friday evening, while the Brumbies will host the NSW Waratahs in a Sunday afternoon blockbuster.

The $2 million LED video screen will be positioned at the southern end of the ground and offer a premium picture during both day and night whether you are 10 metres or 200 metres away.

The new video screen will not only benefit fans of our major national sporting teams who play at GIO Stadium, but also patrons who attend major international fixtures and concerts.
