Prior to the November 2018 election, the State Government committed to 1000 car parks for the City of Ballarat.
However, the City of Ballarat has no knowledge of whether these will be funded in Monday’s State Budget.
At this stage, the City of Ballarat has not been advised by the State Government as to how the roll out of these car parks will work.
The outcome of the State Budget will have no impact on the Smarter Parking Plan, which is already rolling out, apart from the fact additional car parking options for Ballarat residents will always be welcome.
