Residents are encouraged to nominate our communities’ achievers for the 2022 Toowoomba Region Australia Day awards ahead of the October 31 deadline.
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) Deputy Mayor and Australia Day co-ordinating committee chair Cr Geoff McDonald is reminding residents to complete online registrations by visiting www.tr.qld.gov.au/australiaday
“Our Region has hundreds of citizens who devote their time and expertise to running organisations and events that contribute to all sectors of the community,” Cr McDonald said.
“Our community life is greatly enriched by the efforts of the volunteers whose passion and enthusiasm keeps their respective groups running.
“These people contribute countless hours of assistance and run facilities or events for the benefit of fellow residents. I encourage residents to nominate our tireless achievers.
