Hazard Reduction has been scheduled to take place in bushland South of Idlewild Fire Trail, west of Old Northern Rd, Endeavour Rd, Echidna Lakeside, and north of Yoothamurra Fire Trail from this Saturday 21 August through to Monday 23 August 2021.
Should weather conditions be unfavourable to complete the prescribed burn it will go ahead as soon as weather permits (burn notice is valid for 4 weeks).
The Hazard Reduction will consist of prescribed burning of vegetation to reduce the bush fire fuel and assist in reducing the intensity and adverse impact of bush fires in extreme weather conditions.
The prescribed burn will be undertaken by the NSW Rural Fire Service.
