We are currently investigating erosion of a section of the seawall near Belmont Street jetty, Swansea. Sections of the seawall have been closed to allow us to investigate the cause of this erosion activity in the natural marine environment, and to identify potential management options.
The jetty itself remains open.
We thank the community for their patience as we work to ensure the safety of the area. We will provide updates as further investigations are undertaken.
