NSW latest Covid-19 update as at 11 April

NSW recorded no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Six new cases were acquired overseas, bringing the total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,141.

There were 7,927 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day’s total of 8,686.  

NSW Health’s vaccination clinics generally operate Monday to Friday. Therefore, there is a limited number of vaccines administered on weekend days due to planned closures.

There were 410 COVID-19 vaccines administered by NSW Health in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. The total number of vaccines administered by NSW Health is now 151,535.

NSW Health is treating 46 COVID-19 cases, none of whom are in ICU. Most cases (96 per cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.
