NSW police appeal after serious crash at Wagga Wagga

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash at Wagga Wagga yesterday.

About 6.10pm (Thursday 4 March 2021), emergency services attended the intersection of Bourke and Bruce Streets, in the Wagga Wagga of Tolland, after a BMW motorcycle and a Toyota Yaris collided.

The rider, a 58-year-old man, was ejected.

He was treated for head injuries and a fractured wrist by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital in a serious condition.

The Toyota driver, a 21-year-old woman, was treated for minor injuries and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Riverina Police District have commenced an investigation and as inquiries continue, are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information or dash cam footage, to contact investigators.
