NSW police appeal after teens threatened, robbed

Police are appealing for assistance from the community after a group was threatened and robbed in Sydney’s west last month.

About 8pm, Saturday 13 June 2020, six males were walking on a footbridge at Mount Druitt Railway Station when they were confronted by a number of people.

Police have been told one of the men threatened them with a hammer and demanded their phones and a bag before fleeing.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to the Mount Druitt Police Area Command attended the scene and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV images of the alleged robbery and are appealing for information from the community. Those involved have only been described as being of Pacific Islander / Maori appearance.
