The IHACPA Annual Report 2025-26 is now available.
Over the past year, we continued to advance our core objective of promoting efficiency in the costs of health and aged care services across Australia. Our dedication to transparent and evidence-based advice and decisions ensure we remain trusted and respected.
The annual report details our activities throughout the 2025-26 financial year with highlights including:
- an ambitious vision outlined in a strategic plan, which is the first of its kind for our agency
- the release of a new admitted acute care classification, and implementation of new classification for emergency care
- the release of pricing frameworks, pricing determinations and pricing advice relating to public hospital services, residential and in-home aged care services
- comprehensive cost data collections utilising real-time measurements.
This includes our financial and operational performance against planned outcomes in the 2025-26 Portfolio Budget Statements and IHACPA’s 2025-26 Work Program and Corporate Plan.
