NSW police arrest man after woman’s death

A man has been arrested following the death of a woman at Quakers Hill.

About 6.30pm today (Wednesday 20 May 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Ramona Street, where they found a woman suffering from a knife wound.

The 27-year-old woman died at the scene.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene at the home and commenced an investigation.

A 31-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene and taken to Blacktown Hospital for treatment.

Inquiries are continuing.
