NSW police charge man after act of indecency

A man has been charged after allegedly committing an act of indecency near a schoolgirl in Sydney’s south west yesterday.

About 3.30pm (Wednesday 25 November 2020), police were told a man was seated in a white Toyota Landcruiser on Welling Drive, Mt Annan, when it is alleged he indecently exposed himself and started to commit an act of indecency.

At this time, a schoolgirl walked past the vehicle and shortly after, the man drove from the scene.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation after they were alerted to the incident.

A short time later, police stopped a Toyota Landcruiser on Edward Street, Camden, and arrested a 42-year-old man.

He was taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with carry out sexual act with another without consent and behave in offensive manner in/near public place/school.

The Camden man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Picton Local Court on Tuesday 15 December 2020.
