NSW police charge man after woman’s death

A man will face court tomorrow, charged with murder following the death of a woman at Quakers Hill.

About 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 May 2020), emergency services were called to a home on Ramona Street, where they found a 27-year-old woman deceased, suffering from a knife wound.

A 31-year-old man, known to the woman, was arrested at the home and taken to Blacktown Hospital for treatment.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

The man has since been taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with murder.

He has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Friday 22 May 2020).
