NSW police charge man with mid-range PCA at Dubbo

A man will face court charged with mid-range drink-driving and firearm offences in the state’s Central West.

About 9.10pm on Saturday (16 May 2020), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District’s Crime Prevention Team stopped a white Mitsubishi Triton on Whylandra Street, Dubbo, after it was seen swerving on the road.

The driver, a 23-year-old man, was subject to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

Officers searched the vehicle where they located and seized ammunition.

The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.144.

The man was charged with drive with mid-range PCA and possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority.

He was given a future court attendance notice to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 12 August 2020.

His licence was also suspended by police.
