NSW police charge two men with ongoing drug supply

Two men have been charged following an investigation targeting drug supply across metropolitan Sydney.

In August this year, officers from St George Police Area Command Drug Unit established Strike Force Ulster to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs across Sydney.

Following inquiries, strike force investigators, assisted by Central and South West Metropolitan Operations Support Group and the Dog Unit, executed two search warrants on Bidjigal Street, Arncliffe, and Broadway, Punchbowl about 6am (Thursday 29 October 2020).

The searches led to the combined seizure of 185g cocaine, 52g methamphetamine, 1.7g MDMA, 85g cannabis and more than $31,800 cash.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the Arncliffe premises and taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with ongoing supply of prohibited drug, supply indictable quantity of prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug and deal in the proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and appeared in Sutherland Local Court today where he was formally refused bail to reappear at the same court on Monday 2 November 2020.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at the Punchbowl premises and taken to Campsie Police Station where he was charged with the same offences.

He was refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court tomorrow (Friday 30 October 2020).
