NSW police charge two over theft of motorcycles at Dubbo

Two men will face court following an alleged robbery in the state’s Central West.

About 2am on Sunday (12 April 2020), police will allege two men broke into a business on Victoria Street, Dubbo, and stole two motorcycles and accessories.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, officers were conducting patrols in the area when they spotted the two men pushing the motorcycles on Young Street.

The men were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.

The 37-year-old man was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal, possess housebreaking implements, carry cutting weapon upon apprehension, and goods suspected stolen given other not entitled.

He was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today (Tuesday 14 March 2020).

The 41-year-old man was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

He was given strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Thursday 28 May 2020.
