NSW police charge woman after drugs located in search warrant at Parramatta

A woman has been charged with drug and stealing offences in Parramatta yesterday.

At 2.30pm (Thursday 4 June 2020), a search warrant was executed at a home on George Street following an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the address.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command, with assistance from Bass Hill Regional Enforcement Squad and the Parramatta City Council dog catcher, attended.

A large pitbull dog was secured and a 46-year-old woman was arrested at the address.

During a search, police located and seized over 50g of cannabis, four mountain bikes, 4.5g of powder believed to be methylamphetamine, tablets and 3.5ml of liquid believed to be GHB.

The woman was taken to Granville Police Station where she was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug and goods suspected stolen in/on premises (not motor vehicle).

She was granted bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 25 August 2020.
