NSW police charge woman with high-range PCA at Jindabyne

A woman has been charged with high-range drink driving in the Snowy Mountains region.

About 3.40pm yesterday (Thursday 12 June 2020), a 46-year-old woman was stopped by officers from Monaro Police District for a roadside breath test on the Barry Way near Jindabyne.

The woman, who had a six-year-old child in the car with her, allegedly returned a positive result.

She was arrested and taken to Jindabyne Police Station where she was subjected to a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.179.

The woman was charged with high-range PCA and granted conditional bail to face Cooma Local Court on Wednesday 8 July 2020.

A child at risk notification has been made.
