NSW police investigate after teenager injured

An investigation is underway after a teenager was found injured in Sydney’s north today.

About 1.30pm (Wednesday 22 April 2020), emergency services were called to Military Road, Neutral Bay, following reports a boy walked into a pharmacy seeking assistance for a wound to his back.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 17-year-old boy for a laceration, before being taken to Royal North Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.

North Shore detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and appealing for anyone who was in the area to come forward.
