NSW police investigate armed robbery at Killarney Vale

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Killarney Vale early this morning.

About 4.15am (Thursday 14 May 2020), a man entered a service station on Wyong Road, Killarney Vale, and approached a 64-year-old male shop attendant.

The man threatened the attendant with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene.

As investigations continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 185cm-190cm tall, and of a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, grey socks, and black shoes, with dark glasses and his face covered.

Anyone with information which may assist investigators or who may have dashcam footage from the nearby area between 4am and 5am is urged to come forward.
