Police are investigating an armed robbery on the state’s Central Coast overnight.
Police have been told about 7.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 18 September 2019), a 59-year-old male employee was closing up at a Ghersi Avenue, Wamberal store, when an unknown man entered and threatened him with a firearm.
The man took a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene.
The man is described as being approximately 40-years-old, with a thin build, long bushy hair and a gaunt face.
