NSW police investigate public place shooting at San Remo

Police are investigating a public place shooting on the Central Coast early this morning.

About 6.15am (Wednesday 11 March 2020), officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were called to Emu Drive, San Remo, following reports of shots fired.

Police have been told two vehicles were seen travelling south along Emu Drive when an unknown male approached the second vehicle and discharged a weapon.

Both vehicles left the scene at speed headed north a short time later.

A nearby vehicle sustained minor damage.

Detectives from Tuggerah Lakes PD attended and established a crime scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious between 5am and 6.30am in San Remo, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Wyong Police on 4356 6099 or to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
