An investigation is currently underway following a serious assault in Sydney’s west this evening.
About 5.40pm today (Wednesday 4 August 2021), emergency services responded to reports of an assault in Perigee Close, Doonside.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 16-year-old boy at the scene where he was has been taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended, secured a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
