NSW police investigating after armed robbery at St Andrews

Investigations are continuing into an armed robbery south-west of Sydney overnight.

About 10.45pm (Sunday 1 March 2020), a man entered a petrol station on Ballantrae Drive, St Andrews,

and threatened a male staff member with a large machete, before demanding money.

The man, dressed in a black hooded jumper, long dark pants, gloves and a balaclava, fled on foot with an amount of cash, and staff contacted police.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation, with the assistance of the Dog Unit.

As part of their inquiries, investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision in the area at the time to come forward.

The staff member was uninjured.
