NSW police investigating after stolen car used in ram raids near Wagga Wagga

Police are appealing for information following two aggravated break, enter and steal offences in the Riverina District.

Between 12am and 2am today (Saturday 6 June 2020), police have been told a silver Nissan Navara sedan was stolen from a home in River Road, Gobbagombalin.

About 3.40am the same day, the vehicle drove into a supermarket in Gregory Crescent, Lake Albert. A group of up to four males entered the store and stole groceries.

At 4.30am, the sedan drove into a service station on Tumut Street, Adelong, before a group of males ran into the business and stole several items.

Officers from the Riverina Police District established two crime scenes and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding both robberies. Later in the day, the stolen Nissan Navara was recovered in Wagga Wagga.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision in the area at the time to come forward.
