NSW police lay charges after drugs located in car at Anna Bay

A man will appear in court today charged with drug possession and supply following a vehicle stop in the state’s north.

About 5.30pm yesterday (Friday 6 December 2019), police stopped and searched a white Mitsubishi Triton on Pacific Avenue, Anna Bay.

Upon searching the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized 2.05 grams of LSD and 2.82 grams of cannabis.

The 45-year-old male driver was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of possess prohibited drug and one count of supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity).

The man was refused bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court today (Saturday 7 December 2019).
