NSW police lay charges over 2004 break-ins at Gunnedah

A man will face court next month charged with an alleged break and enter that occurred in 2004 at Gunnedah.

Cash, vouchers and camera equipment was stolen when businesses in a Gunnedah shopping mall on Conadilly Street, were broken into between 6.30pm on Tuesday (20 January 2004) and 8.30am on Wednesday (21 January 2004).

Following extensive investigations including assistance from the Western Australia Police Force – detectives attached to Oxley Police District arrested a 47-year-old man at his home on Beulah Street, Gunnedah, about 8.30am today (Wednesday 10 June 2020).

He was taken to Gunnedah Police Station where he was charged with two counts of break and enter building (steal) value.

He’s been given conditional bail to appear at Gunnedah Local Court on Tuesday 7 July 2020.
