NSW police lay charges over theft of mobile phones valued at nearly $75,000 at Albury

Local police have charged a man with nearly 30 theft-related offences following inquiries into the theft of mobile phones valued at nearly $75,000 in the state’s Murray River region.

Following inquiries, it was identified that the phones were allegedly on-sold in Melbourne, Victoria.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station, where he was charged with 29 offences;
