NSW police release image of man after sexual act on bus

Police have released an image of a man following a sexual act while travelling on a bus in Sydney’s lower north shore last year.

About 1pm (Tuesday 9 November 2021), a bus containing passengers – including several female school students – was travelling on Gladesville Road at Hunters Hill.

Police have been told by two female students – aged 16 and 17 – they noticed a man laying across the back seat committing a sexual act.

The students immediately moved to the front of the bus and alighted at George Street in Sydney.

The man left the bus at the same stop and walked in the opposite direction.

The incident was reported to officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Proactive Crime Team attached to the Police Transport Command, North Central.

Police would like to speak to the man depicted in the image. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 45-55 old, about 170cm tall with a thin build, he has grey hair and is unshaven. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark grey cargo pants with red shoes.
