Police are appealing for information after a man approached a child outside a house in Sydney’s south-west yesterday.
About 1.20pm (Tuesday 21 July 2020), a four-year-old boy was playing at the end of a driveway on Browning Close, Wetherill Park, when he was approached by an unknown man.
His grandmother observed the incident and confronted the man, who left the area.
About 3.50pm the man was seen returning to the street by the boy’s mother .
The incident was reported to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation.
The man is described as being aged in his 30s or 40s, of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, with one green eye and one grey eye.
He was last seen wearing jeans, a white shirt, high-vis vest and a black cap.
