NSW police seek information after three rifles stolen at Wellington

Police are appealing for public assistance after firearms were stolen during a break and enter in the state’s Central West yesterday.

Police have been told a gun safe at a home in Wellington had been opened and three rifles and ammunition stolen, sometime between 8.30pm on Tuesday (5 May 2020) and 9am yesterday (Wednesday 6 May 2020).

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the home and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.
